Aluminum Radiator Overflow Tank – V3 (Fits Most Downflow Radiators in Classic Z Cars)

We’re proud to introduce our custom Aluminum Overflow Tank, specifically designed to fit within the mounting rib of most downflow-style aluminum radiators used in classic Z cars.

This version is engineered to fit the Mishimoto MMRAD-DATS-70 radiator, though it may be compatible with other models. Please confirm fitment by checking the center-to-center mounting points on your radiator.

? Product Overview – V3 Design

The V3 Overflow Tank features a clean, versatile setup:

• Standard billet aluminum cap

• Single 1/8” NPT female port welded at the bottom, facing the rear of the vehicle

• Vented cap design prevents pressure buildup

• Can be mounted on either the left or right side of the radiator

? Model Variants (For Reference):

• V1: Standard cap, both ports face downward; LH side only

• V2: Vibrant Performance cap, both ports face downward; LH side only

• V3: (This model) One rear-facing port, vented design, LH or RH side mounting

? Specifications:

• Material: TIG-welded 6061 aluminum

• Capacity: 0.6L / 0.64 qt

• Fitting: 1x 1/8” NPT female port (bottom-mounted, rear-facing)

• Mounting Hardware: Includes 2x M6x1.0 hex head screws

  • Note: Longer screws may be needed if using a fan shroud

• Tank Dimensions: 2″ x 2″ x 14.5″

• Mounting Bolt Spacing: 7-7/8″ (200mm center-to-center)
