As more enthusiasts push the performance limits of F-Chassis BMWs, the factory radiator has started to show its age. Increased boost and upgraded turbos generate significantly more heat, and the stock system can struggle to keep up. Combined with the heat exchanger mounted in front of the radiator, engine coolant temps can get too hot, especially during track use which can trigger limp mode.
The Focus RS was very well engineered and performed admirably out of the box. However, a few upgrades can quickly lead to heat issues, especially on the track or in hot climates. An upgraded radiator from CSF is the perfect solution.
The CSF #7089 Cooling product is designed to be a “Drop-In Fit” application. The product will install in the OEM Location with no modifications necessary unless otherwise noted or instructions are included in the product package. Please see the manufacturer repair manual for standard installation instructions. If you do not feel confident installing this product CSF recommends taking it to a qualified installation facility.
