We are proud to announce the release of our custom engine swap mounts to our RB engine enthusiasts.

These custom engine mounts are proudly made in the USA!

These mounts will allow you to install the Nissan RB-Series engine into the Datsun 240z 260z 280z chassis.

We have two variations of this kit available, pros and cons are listed below for each one to help you make the right decision.

Option 1: OEM Slant

Pros:

• Slant mounted just like from factory.
• Shifter will be positioned in the center of the transmission tunnel opening.
• Most rear sump oil pans will work.
• Will fit a front facing intake plenum with little to no modifications.

Cons:

• Limited space to fit a large turbocharger.
• Limited space to fit a larger downpipe.

Option 2: Straight Mounted: (Special order 2-4 weeks lead time)

Pros:

• Will fit a much larger frame turbo.
• Will fit a larger downpipe. (We have fitted a 4″ downpipe in our shop car).

Cons:

• Shifter will sit slightly slanted to the RH side inside the transmission tunnel opening.
• May need an oil pan that is made straight (without OEM slant).
• If using a front facing intake plenum, modification to the wheel well or plenum will most likely be required.

• Engine Mounts are Laser cut from 0.250” (1/4”) thick steel
• Slotted mount to engine design to allow for adjustment
• Professionally TIG welded using pure argon shielding gas
• Satin Black powder-coat finish
• High quality polyurethane bushings by Prothane
• Sandwiching plates for transmission tunnel. (Read below)

• Energy Suspension Polyurethane Transmission Mount
• Transmission Cross Member Sandwich Plates
• All necessary hardware for installation

Our transmission mount is designed for you to mount it to the transmission tunnel. You will need to drill holes on the side of your transmission tunnel. We provide low profile hardware for this however this may not be for everyone (Please refer to listing photos).

If you do not want to drill your tunnel and have retaining plates inside the vehicle then this kit is not for you.

Not all Datsun Z transmission tunnels are created equal. Some massaging/modification to the tunnel may be required.
